Freddie Mac Loan Prospector®    - LandSafe Interface Web Installation

System Requirements

To access LandSafe Credit through Freddie Mac’s Loan Prospector credit interface, you must meet these system and account set-up requirements :

  • Must be an active registered Loan Prospector user. 
  • Must have an active LandSafe Credit account. If you do not have an active LandSafe Credit account, please go to LandSafe.com or call 877-LS-CLOSE (877-572-5673). 
  • Must be registered with LandSafe as a Loan Prospector user. To register with LandSafe as a Loan Prospector user, please call 877-LS-CLOSE (877-572-5673). Please have your Loan Prospector Seller/Servicer or TPO number ready when you call.
  • Seller/Servicers must be activated as LandSafe customers by Freddie Mac, at LandSafe’s request (this can take up to 48 hours).
  • Have Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, or 6.0 with 128 bit encryption installed.
  • Have a continuous Internet connection.

Common Errors when
Requesting a Credit Report

Error 122: Name/Login Not Recognized
If you are a Seller/Servicer:

  • Be sure you have been set up by LandSafe as a Loan Prospector user.

  • Be sure that Freddie Mac has activated your account as a LandSafe customer

If you are a TPO:

  • Be sure you have been set-up with LandSafe as a Loan Prospector user.

Not Enough Data Provided

For a new credit report, you must provide the following for each borrower and co-borrower:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Social Security Number

  • Complete Present Mailing Address

For a reissued credit report, you must provide the Request ID of the report in addition to: 

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Social Security Number

  • Complete Present Mailing Address

for each borrower and co-borrower:

 Bad Connection

Check your Internet connection.
