Byte^® - LandSafe Interface Web Installation

System Requirements

To install the Byte - LandSafe Interface, you must meet these minimum system requirements:

• Have Byte 4.25 or later installed.

• Have a LandSafe.com user ID and password. If you do not have a user ID and password, go to LandSafe.com or call 877-LS-CLOSE (877-572-5673).

• Have Windows 2000 (with Service Pack 2 or higher installed), NT, ME, 98, or XP.
  Note: Windows 2000, NT, and XP installations require administrator privileges.

• Have Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, or 6.0 with 128 bit encryption installed.

• Have a continuous Internet connection.

Installation

To install the Byte - LandSafe Interface:

1. From within Byte, open a borrower file.

2. On the Communications menu, click Credit.

3. Click Select Interface.

4. Click Update List for the LandSafe Interface.

Common Errors when Requesting a Credit Report

Not Enough Data Provided

You must provide the following for each borrower and co-borrower:

• First Name

• Last Name

• Social Security Number

• Complete Present Mailing Address

Bad Connection

Check your Internet connection.
